How to protect the hydraulic pump when the excavator is equipped with a breaker?-Part 2
2022-06-16
5. Replace the oil seal in time
Analysis: The oil seal is a vulnerable part. It is recommended that the breaker work for about 600-800 hours, and the breaker oil seal should be replaced once; when the oil seal leaks oil, it must stop working immediately and replace the oil seal, otherwise the side dust will easily enter the hydraulic system, damage the hydraulic system, damage hydraulic pump;
6. Keep the pipeline clean
When installing the breaker pipeline, it must be thoroughly cleaned, and the inlet and return oil circuits must be cyclically connected;
When replacing the bucket, the breaker pipeline must be blocked to keep the pipeline clean;
Analysis: Sand and other debris can easily damage the hydraulic pump after entering the hydraulic system;
7. The hydraulic system should be preheated before the breaker is used
Analysis: When the breaker is parked, the hydraulic oil in the upper part will flow to the lower part. It is recommended to operate with a small throttle every day at the beginning of use. After the oil film of the piston cylinder of the breaker is formed, use the medium throttle to operate. It can protect the hydraulic system of the excavator;
8. The breaker used for demolition is more frequently damaged than the breaker used in mines, and the large pump of the main engine is damaged.
Analysis: Because the dust easily enters the hammer cylinder along the steel rod, which leads to the pollution and rapid aging of the hydraulic oil, it is recommended to install the oil return filter element in the oil return circuit.
9. Air hitting will not only cause the oil temperature to rise, but also cause abnormal vibrations to make impurities to enter the rigid body of the breaker, so air hitting is strictly prohibited.
10.When the breaker is stored for a long time, the drill rod should be removed first, and the nitrogen gas in the upper cylinder should be released to push the piston to the end, so as to avoid the exposed part of the piston from rusting or scratching and damaging the main pump.
